General Data Protection Regulation
Recent media interest in the General Data Protection Regulations have emphasised the cyber security threat of unauthorized access to peoples sensitive information. Yet most of the ICO guidelines deal with the human element of how organisations respond in the event of a data breach. policies and procedures will need to be put in place and staff trained to treat client confidentiality seriously.. This requires a multi disciplined holistic approach that covers, legal, HR, business workflow, documentation and IT.
In response to Client requests, IT-EBS has developed an inclusive package which looks at the overall impact of the new GDPR legislation on yourcompany. That will involve such thing as review data processing, access to filing cabinets, staff working from home and all the other myriad of possibilities that will be unique to each business. The package is designed so that we can work with your IT provider rather than competing against them.
