Although Dear Systems has its own accounting module you can synchronise information with existing packages such as Xero and Quickbooks. This provides the ability to post non stock transactions such as overheads, submitting VAT returns and assistance with preparing end of year accounts. This has the benefit that Dear can specialise on the stock functions it does well, whilst the accounting package can do what it is designed to do. Information that is transferred includes:

• Financial transactions for VAT and accounting purposes including sales invoices and supplier payments.
• Supplier and customer information including contact persons and address.
• Tracks prepaid deposits.
• Links back to the transaction in Dear systems for more detailed information.

Pricing starts at $2739.00 for 5 users including support and 2 external integrations. (implementation is quoted separately depending on each business’s requirements).
