Exchequer software have raised their price yet again in 2026

I think there are a few businesses we spoke to last year that are feeling a bit sheepish as they came back into the New Year. In spite of talking to a number of companies that received price rises of up to %100 in 2025, they decided to swallow the charge from Exchequer and stay with the devil they now.. They thought that if they would capitulate to this unfair demands that would be the end of it. Well now those people have been slugged with another % 30 on top again in 2026 and rumour has it there will be more in 2027. All this for a software that is no longer being developed, unless legislation requires it. That means they paying more for a second hand clapped out car rather than upgrading to the later more speedy and reliable model. In sticking to what they know, these companies are loosing out on the efficiency gains of the latest state of the art technology which would make their business more profitable. A loose, loose situation.
The hidden price of not moving:
One client we were talking too stayed with Exchequer as they were in the middle of building a link to an existing software (API), and wanted to complete this first. This took months to finish at the cost of thousands of pounds. They were a bit taken aback when we explained that the offering we had in mind had the integration built in and takes 30 minutes to set up. They have now moved their entire operation to the cloud but are still stuck with the maintaining a server just to keep Exchequer going.
What are your options regarding Exchequer:
We have written many times in the past on the unfair pricing strategies of One Advanced, who own Exchequer, and we do have a number of different options available for those affected, so please fill in the contact form and will respond as soon as possible.
