Xero Pricing Plans

Xero Cost

Xero offers three main pricing plans for small businesses after a 30-day free trial, all supporting unlimited users:

  1. Xero Early ($15/month): Limits of 20 invoices/quotes and 5 bills per month. Includes capturing receipts and running reports.
  2. Xero Growing ($42/month): Unlimited invoices, quotes, and bills.
  3. Xero Established ($78/month): Adds multiple currency support, projects, advanced analytics, and employee expense claims.

Discounts and promotions are often available when signing up. The pricing seems competitive compared to QuickBooks Online and Zoho Books for similar tiers.

Occasionally Xero will have a special offer which is either six months at a lower price and sometime free for the first month. They usual offer this mid year to match their sales targets before their annual report.

Potential Discounted Pricing for Bulk Licenses

One user reported their employer getting 100 Xero licenses at £2.50 + VAT per month each, totaling £250 + VAT monthly. While this deeply discounted bulk pricing seems unusual, some users confirmed Xero offering such deals for large license purchases upfront.

However, Xero account managers denied knowledge of this specific £2.50 per license deal when asked. The consensus is that such steep discounts are possible but likely require negotiating with Xero for a large number of licenses committed upfront.

Setting Up Costs and Expenses

Xero allows setting up standard reusable costs, importing costs from files, and adding one-off costs to specific jobs or projects. This enables tracking and billing client expenses efficiently. In summary, Xero’s public pricing is transparent but significant discounts appear possible when purchasing many licenses in bulk through negotiation with their sales team.

Xero also integrates with other software to increase business functionality beyond accounting. You can link to CRM programs such as HubSpot or Inventory management platforms such as Cin7Core. This allows for sinking of contact and product information across different solutions .
