Resource Type
Resources come in 3 distinct categories: labour, this type of resource is linked to the system users in your organization. Machine: this type of resource is linked to fixed assets in your inventory. Infinite: These resources have cost but do not have capacity limitations and do not affect the scheduler (e.g., water, electricity, etc.)
Create new Resource:
Main menu>Production>Settings>Select Resource Tab.
1. Click + button to create a new resource.
2. Fill in the service details; Resource Code, Resource Name, Type, Status, and others.
Resources Code – Provide the Resource with a unique code making it easier to find.
Resource Name – the name of the resource
Type – Machine, Labour, other
1. Machine – Fixed assets in your inventory
2. Labour – System user in your organization.
3. Other – Cannot be linked to fixed assets or users.
Status – Operational, non-Operational
Infinite Resource – the resource consists of a cost but does not have a capacity limitation and does not affect the scheduler. (e.g., water, electricity)
Use all available resources – allows the operation to occupy all available capacity for this resource regardless of the quantity set in the product BOM
Save changes.
Set up services
The service product is used to define resource cost.
Map Individual-Resource:
1. Click the Number of individual Resources…
2. Click on the + button to create a new Individual resource.
3. Fill in the Filed…
